Delivery/transportation conditions

At Bambou, we work to ensure your orders arrive quickly, safely, and efficiently. The conditions below apply to all shipments made through our website www.bambou.pt .

  1. Delivery destinations
  • We carry out expeditions to mainland Portugal and the islands (Madeira and Azores).
  • We also ship to other countries in the European Union, subject to specific conditions to be agreed.
  • For recipients outside the EU, you must contact us in advance to check availability and additional costs.
  1. Shipping times
  • Orders are shipped after payment confirmation.
  • The average shipping time is 2 to 5 (working days) for mainland Portugal.
  • For islands and international shipments, delivery times may be longer depending on the carrier and local customs.
  • In exceptional situations (e.g., stock shortages, periods of high demand, natural phenomena), deadlines may change, and the customer will be informed.
  1. Transportation costs
  • Shipping costs are automatically calculated during the sales process, taking into account the weight, volume and destination of the order.
  • For large volume or exceptional weight orders, a specific shipping quote may be required, and the customer will be contacted prior to shipping.
  1. Carriers
  • Shipments are made through reliable partner carriers, selected according to the type of product and destination.
  • After shipment, you can contact us to track the delivery status.
  1. Receipt of the order
  • At the time of delivery, the customer must check the order status for compliance.
  • Upon receipt of the goods, the CMR must be signed, and if there is any complaint, it must be made at the time of unloading.
  • Upon acceptance of delivery without reservation, the order is deemed to have been received in good condition.
  1. Failure to receive/return due to absence
  • If delivery is not possible due to the customer’s absence, an additional cost will be charged for immobilizing the truck.
  • If the order is returned due to failure to collect it in a timely manner, the costs of reshipping will be borne by the customer.
  1. Responsibility
  • Bambou is not responsible for delivery delays attributable to carriers, strikes, customs problems or other circumstances beyond our control.
  • However, we always strive to monitor the process and find quick solutions to any unforeseen circumstances.
